The Responsibilities of Membership
l. Attendance. Rotarians are encouraged to attend weekly club meetings and participate in our service projects!
2. Proposing new members. It is a privilege and obligation of every Rotarian to propose new members.
3. Service on committees. We offer a broad range of service projects that cover a variety of interests. All of our members are required to participate in a minimum of one service project throughout the Rotary year. Service projects with the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) include Art in the Park, Children's Fest, Environmental Committee activities, World Community Service (International Projects), Youth Exchange, and so many more! If you have a project or cause that you are passionate about, our club would love to hear about it!
4. Continue learning about Rotary and new opportunities for service through the annual district conference, our annual District meeting and the Rotary International Convention.
There are two ways to become a member of our club!
1. A person being considered for membership is invited by a member/sponsor to attend one or more club meetings so that the prospective member can learn more about Rotary and meet the club's leadership team.
2. You can apply directly through our online Rotary Membership Application here. Our membership committee will then contact you to learn more about how our mission aligns with your interests and invite you to attend one of our meetings!
The Privileges of Membership
1. Fellowship with people having similar ideals, including the desire to help others.
2. The feeling of satisfaction gained through participating in unique community and international service projects, improving your vocation, and developing international friendships.
3. Meeting & connecting with other leaders
4. Participation in stimulating and informative programs at the club's weekly meetings.
5. Form friendships with Rotarians of other clubs in nearby communities or around the world when attending other Rotary club meetings.
6. Learn about other cultures with opportunities to host people from other countries in your home and club--Rotarians, or non-Rotarians who participate in the programs of Rotary (for example, Youth Exchange) and The Rotary Foundation.
