Announcing the return of ROTARY NIGHT AT THE THEATRE featuring the University Players’ production of  A Street Car Named Desire by Tennessee Williams.

When: Friday, November 2nd at 8 p.m.
Where: Essex Hall Theatre on the main campus of the University of Windsor

Often regarded as one of the finest plays of the 20th century, A Streetcar Named Desire was written in 1947 and  tells the story of an impoverished thirty-something named Blanche DuBois who travels from Mississippi to New Orleans to live with her sister, Stella, and her brother-in-law, Stanley Kowalski. Blanche and Stanley are like oil and water.  Tensions mount as they clash in what is already a volatile Kowalski household.

A dessert soiree will follow immediately after the play at the home of Peter and Denise Hrastovec.

Tickets are $15 and are available through Peter Hrastovec (cash or cheque only).
