Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Last meeting, we held our annual Christmas Luncheon. It was a full program, and even Santa (aka our own Tom Goebel) made an appearance! Nick Bibic went over the Pigout for polio results, confirming the event is raising more money each year. Alene Abati and Niklas Pizzolitto from our Rotaract Club of Windsor (1918) spoke about some of their successful initiatives, Brianna Kormendy-Ramirez gave a speech about her RYLA experience and Ryla certificates were handed out.

My World Community Service project, Global Education Development Fund is fundraising for their ‘Tanzania Textbook Project’. We are having a fundraising dinner on January 13, 2018 (see attached below). Tickets are $25.00. You can support the project by buying a ticket or by purchasing a book, or two, or three….. For just $10.00 you can buy a textbook for a Primary School child in Singida, Tanzania!!!! If you are a member of an organization or company please consider purchasing a block of 10 tickets or making a donation to a worthy cause. The net revenue for the November Bingo was $1,037.76, making a total of $5250.05 for the first half of the current Rotary year.
Membership Dues
Invoices for the January to July 2018 period will be at the Caboto in December for easy pickup and thus save on mailing costs.
Battery Box Program
The Battery Recycle Box Program is active. Please drop your used batteries, light bulbs, ink cartridges and other recycle items in the battery box at the back of the room.
