As our centennial celebrations have drawn to a close, it’s time for our Club to start thinking about our vision - where do we want to see our Club in the future? President Jules took us through the current state, including a synopsis of our Club and Foundation. Questions were posed to members, asking for their feedback about what they’d like to see our Club focus on in the future. Cindy Duggal discussed our Club’s major charitable committees and what they’ve each been up to, so that our members could get a better understanding of how much we actually do in both our community and abroad. Visions for each committee was also presented. Click here for the details from that portion of the meeting.

Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) has recently become a lifetime member of Rotary HIP (Honouring Indigenous Peoples). HIP is an initiative of Rotarians from several Rotary districts (6330, 7010, 7040, 7070 and 7080) that covers a large percentage of the province of Ontario. We wish to encourage Rotarians across Canada to work with each other and with indigenous people in order to empower indigenous people through education. We also wish to create awareness among Rotarians and others of the issues, culture and history of indigenous people in Canada. Further information about their goals, values, activities and resources are available on their website: http://www.rotaryhip.com
