Last Monday's Meeting
Our Club had a lot to celebrate this past Monday (Nov 20th)!
The return member & Midwife Andrea Cassidy from Tanzania after two years of planning for the TANZANIA MATERNAL NEWBORN VOCATIONAL TRAINING! She and the team supported local midwives and healthcare professionals in their efforts to decrease infant and maternal mortality rates in the Shia District.
Thank you to Andrea and her team for the work that they have done to bring essential healthcare to the people of Maasai.
Rita Rampure, a friend of Rotary, was a critical donor to the project and was recognized with a Paul Harris Fellow during the meeting for donating a new Ultrasound Machine to the Siha District Hospital. This donation, along with the VTT, will drastically change the outcome of healthy births in the region and the care that expectant mothers receive throughout their pregnancy.
Finally, the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) was the proud recipient of the 2022-23 Foundation Giving Club, the Per Capita Annual Giving and the Every Rotarian Every Year Club banner by Assistant Governor, Suzanne Grouette!
