Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) cheque presentation at the Annual City of Windsor Reception
Our Club was proud to present a cheque valued at $87,364 at the Annual City of Windsor Reception on Sunday, January 21st. This presentation ceremony marked a significant contribution of a portion of the proceeds from the highly successful Art in the Park 2023 event.
The Annual City of Windsor Reception represents a tangible outcome of the collaborative efforts between the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) and the City of Windsor in organizing Art in the Park. A cheque amounting to $87,364 was presented, symbolizing the impact of the event not only in celebrating art and culture but also in contributing to the ongoing restoration and preservation of Willistead Manor.
“The enduring partnership between the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) and the City of Windsor shines in our collaborative efforts to host Art in the Park at the iconic and historic Willistead Manor. We are delighted to have smashed attendance records once again last June," shared Allan Kidd, President of the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) and Chair of Art in the Park.
Members of the media, as well as the public, attended the cheque presentation at the Annual City of Windsor Reception on January 21st at Willistead Manor.
