Exciting news! The Tanzania Global Grant for Maternal Health VTT Part 2 has been approved. Andrea and Michelle, along with two other Canadian midwives, will be heading to Tanzania from October 24 to November 13.
They'll be partnering with a medical team of six Tanzanian healthcare professionals from PANETA to co-teach midwives and healthcare workers in the Kilimanjaro region. Together, they’ll cover crucial topics like managing bleeding after birth, infection control, respectful maternal care, and the use of the life-saving NASG (Non-Pneumatic Anti-Shock Garment).
Stay tuned for updates from their journey!
