Thanks to the Community Service Grant that our club presented to WETRA,
they were able to purchase a new therapy pony, named Princess Fiona!
"She's here! Meet Princess Fiona, our newest therapy team member. Special thanks to Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) for affording us the opportunity to purchase this wonderful mare. We know she will carry the most precious cargo in our community with pride."

We've Almost Reached Our Target!
We need 7 more Easter baskets!
THANK YOU to everyone who donated an Easter basket or two this year to support our Easter Basket Initiative with Children First in memory of Mark Donlon!
We have collected 33 baskets, meaning we are only 7 short of reaching our goal of 40! Please contact the office to be assigned an age group. There are no more baskets available at the Rotary office.
Reminder: the deadline to return your completed basket(s) is Monday, April 3rd. Prepared baskets can be dropped off at the Monday meetings or at the Rotary office.
Contact Laura to participate & be assigned an age group.

Join World Community Service (WCS)
World Community Service Committee (WCS) is now accepting new members interested in International projects!
Over the last few years, this committee has focused on projects primarily in Ghana, Tanzania, and India, as well as other projects in Haiti, Jamaica, Brazil and Sierra Leone.
These major projects were conceived with community consultations with the local people affected and a multi-year plan was created. The Club provides the committee funds with a budget - $27,000. For 22/23. These funds can often be matched with District and Rotary International dollars. WCS members have also privately raised most of the money spent in Ghana. These monies receive a tax receipt from our own Windsor Rotary Foundation.
Travel to our projects is encouraged. Team members pay their own way but do qualify for an Income Tax receipt for all expenditures connected with the projects.
Please contact Ron Arkell or Shari Cunningham if you are interested in joining WCS.
