Congratulations goes to both Past President Jules Hawkins and member Ashok Rajan for their accomplishments this past week.
On Tuesday evening at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, Jules was awarded the prestigious Fellows of the Chartered Professional Accountants (FCPA) designation. FCPA is a special honour and recognizes those members whose achievements and contributions, in their careers and in the community, have "rendered exceptional service to the profession. Becoming a Fellow is the highest honour that can be bestowed on a CPA".
Ashok was presented with the "Glenn Sawyer Service Award" of the Ontario Medical Association on Wednesday at St. Clair Centre for the Arts. This award is an honour bestowed on a physician who has made a major contribution to the medical profession and the community.
