Our Club sponsored the launching of a Windsor Rotaract Club

2000-2001

Gary Wintermute
The Club launched a fund raising effort to support the building of a Childrens' Safety Village
The Easter Seal organization announced that they would open a local office and gradually, over a period of three years, assume command of local fund raising efforts.

2001-2002

Connie Martin
Connie became the club's first lady president.

This was the year that saw the formal handover of the local Easter Seals Program to the Ontario Society.
2002-2003

Terry Finn

This was the club's last year of involvement with the Easter Seal fund raising campaign.

2003-2004

Scott Elliott

Our Club moved its' office into the Children's Safety Village Building. The CSV began operations.
Scott oversaw a painstaking process of downsizing the scale of operations for the club as the effects of the departure of the Easter Seals staff and supporting funding reduced our Office complement to one person.
2004-2005

Beverly Cyr

Bev entered her presidential year with a group of 143 members.
She was charged with the task of adjusting our club mandate and committee structures in recognition of the reality of a smaller membership and the support of a one person office.
2005-2006

Peter Hrastovec

Peter assumed control of a smaller club with a need to refocus its' mandate. An older membership was rapidly being replaced through natural attrition by a new younger group of Rotarians whose views of service and fund raising were somewhat different.
2006-2007

Maureen Lucas

The club made two major donations from its' Windsor Foundation Fund.
$500,000 to Maryvale’s Rotary Home of Adolescent and Youth
as well as
$1,000,000 to the John McGivney Children’s Centre.
Both of these contributions were towards the construction of new facilities.
2007-2008

Shari Cunningham

This was a year in which the club expanded its' international presence. Programs in India and Africa were developed with the assistance of district Rotary clubs and Rotary International.
2008-2009

Romeo Girardi

In this presidential year, the shovels were put in the ground for the John McGivney Children's Centre and the Maryvale Adolescent & Family Services Rotary Home for Children. The annual Art in the Park show prospered despite a series of unfortunate events that threatened the event. Our Club reorganized its' administrative structure under "The Club Leadership Plan (EN-245)" as recommended by Rotary International.
