Welcome to the New Member Orientation/Information Committee Page. The information below describes the mandate and activities of this committee and lists the current year's members.
Beginning in Rotary Year 2000, the New Member Orientation/Information Committee was dissolved and its activities absorbed under the Membership Development Committee.
New Member Orientation/Information Committee Mandate
The New Member Orientation/Information Committee shall:
- strive to promote and facilitate involvement of new members in all
aspects of Rotary
- devise and carry into effect plans to:
- give prospective members information about the privileges and
responsibilities of membership in a Rotary Club
- give the members, especially
new members,
adequate understanding of
the privileges and responsibilities of membership
- give the members information about Rotary, its history, object, scope,
activities and
- give the members information as to developments in the administrative
operation of Rotary International
New Member Orientation/Information Committee Activities
Our Rotary (1918) Website was established, with one of its a goals, to
provide information for existing Rotarians and prospective new members.
There are several pages designed to make information access as easy as
possible.
This Committee now operates under the Membership Development Committee
