Club Administration for Rotary (1918) Club

The main objective of a Rotary Club is service. These committees are the service vehicles (Programs) which assist us in carrying out our mission. It is important that each committee serves a recognized need, is properly staffed, has a dedicated advisor, has a firm mandate, meets regularly and is active and productive.

The Club Leadership Plan (EN-245) is the administrative structure recommended for Rotary clubs by the R.I. Board. Although it isn't mandatory for any club to adopt the Plan, The Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) is in the process of reorganizing its' Committee Structures under the five Pillars of Service which are the underlying structure of the Plan.
Over time, committees will change their mandates, be eliminated or joined with other committees. Generally, there is an ongoing restructuring of committees with the changing of presidents reflecting the thrust of the new board executive.

Committees function under the direction of the Board of Directors in five major Divisions (Pillars) as noted below rather than under Five Avenues of Service - Club, Community, International, New Generations and Vocatonal. Each Division and Each Committee in the Divisions adhere to the philosophical basses of the Five Avenues of Service as may be appropriate for their mandates.
