October is Economic & Community Development Month. Jake Rondot and Cara Kennedy of the Walkerville BIA spoke about the area's history, the challenges they faced, and how far they have come in getting Walkerville to be the vibrant urban district it is.

The Battery Recycle Box Program is active. Please drop your used batteries, light bulbs, ink cartridges and other recycle items in the battery box at the back of the room.
