Our Speaker, THE RT. HON. HERB GRAY, P.C., C.C., Q.C.,
Canadian Chair International Joint Commission of Canada and the United States

Nancy Johns, a local artist, and owner of the Nancy Johns Gallery,
presented the Club with a cheque for $1,500 which were the proceeds
from the sale of art work produced at Art in the Park. Nancy was, in
turn, presented with a Certificate of Thanks from our Club by
PP Shari Cunningham and Rotarian Margurite Reid

PP Maureen Lucas presented a cheque for $2,000 from the proceeds of the
fence signs at Children’s Fest to Michael Lucier who represented the Children’s Safety Village,

Asst. D.G. Arnie Charlton announced an inter-club challenge for a
food campaign. He asked members to bring ‘lunch themed’ food items to the December 1st meeting, especially peanut butter and macaroni and cheese.

New member, Salvation Army Major David Holliday with Rotarians John Paul Hatnean and Tony Mancinone

Karen Durocher presented a gift from our Rotary Club, a laptop and printer, to two visiting teachers from the St. Thomas Anglican school for kindergarten to grade 6 in Anomabo, Ghana, Edwina Thompson-Donkor and Olivia Baisie. Also, 2 more laptops were donated by the Separate School Board of Education. These computers will be a first for the Ghana school, and a should be a definite asset to the implementation of some of the teaching tools the Ghana teachers have been given during their visits to local schools.
