Two new Rotatians are inducted by Governor Jennifer Jones

Governor Jennifer Jones presented a cheque for $1000.00 for a District Simplified Grant to Rotarian Om Chandna towards partial expenses for our District essay contest in which high school students in our District participated

Rotarian David Eady honoured his wife Lyn by giving her a Paul Harris Fellowship. David was presented a Paul Harris Fellowship pin with one sapphire.
A PHF was also awarded to Bob Fields' son Michael as Bob himself received a sapphire pin. Kay Curtis, one of our newer and very active members, also received a PHF.

A Paul Harris Ruby pin with two sapphires was awarded to PP Maureen Lucas

A Paul Harris Ruby pin with 3 rubies (representing a gift of $8,000.00) was awarded to PP Bev Lounsbury

Paul Harris Sapphire pins were awarded to Nick Bibic with one sapphire, Carl Cohen with three sapphires and PP Lex McCrindle with five sapphires

Jim and Dianne Moore have established a pattern of giving a Paul Harris Fellowship to each new grandchild - Jim for the boys, Dianne for the girls. Jim is leading to date and today his wife Dianne accepted a fellowship on his behalf for their latest grandson, James Benjamin Issac, called Ben. Jim receives a PHF pin with five sapphires.
There are Rotarians who have made a donation of $10,000.00 or more not including Foundation points.
Our club currently has three major donors to whom we have given an engraved crystal and diamond Paul Harris pins. They are:

Rotarian Ladies all Janet Kelly, DG Jennifer Jones and Sheila Wisdom

Former Exchange student Cory Ladoucer with his Parents Bill and Sandy Cory talked about his exchange student year in Australia and thanked Rotarians for the launch it gave him into a successful career.
He is now the sommelier at the Granite Club in Toronto.

Our Auction table was loaded with Rotarian donated items that generated over $600.00 in the bidding wars

Auctioneer Fred Sorrell kept the bidding action moving at a brisk pace with the assistance of Rotarian Kay Curtis and our exchange students, Mayu Takano (Japan) and Yanik Fuchs (Switzerland)
