Rotarian Janet Kelly hosted a program focusing on our World Community Service accomplishments. President Bill MacArthur served as our master of ceremonies as we introduced our many guests.

DG Neil McBeth presented and PDG Fred Sorrell pinned Ron Arkell with a PFH,
Kay Curtis with a 2-sapphire PHF pin,
Om Chandna with a 2-sapphire PHF pin
and Krishna Chandna with a 1-sapphire PHF pin.
Spokesman Allan Kidd Jr. also announced
a 2-sapphire PHF pin for Rotarian Godfrey Bacheyie
and a PHF for Rotarian Asmat Naebkhil
who were unable to attend the ceremony.

In recognition for their work with the Canadian World Education Fund committee, Sushil and Christine Jain were awarded an honorary Rotary 1918 membership. Rotarian Neil Chitte and President Bill MacArthur made the presentation.

President Bill reported that ’Toonies for Haiti’ raised $5,500 at the Spits game, last Thursday. Bill thanked Bev Cyr for helping to collect the toonies. Don Cyr and Rotarian Don Snyder also assisted in the collection process.
