President Shari announced the promotion by the Bank of Montreal of long time Rotarian Scott Elliott to Sr. Manager, Finance, for the Ontario Regional Division. Unfortunately for our Club, Scott will be moving to Kitchener-Waterloo and transferring his membership to a new Rotary Club.

University of Windsor Professor and Rotarian, Roman Maev, is congratulated by President Shari for his reception of a $5 million dollar government grant in support of his research projects. Roman Maev was presented with a Rotary pin with an eagle on it. ‘Eagles are like leaders, one never sees them in a flock, they always soar high above the crowd….’ said Pres. Shari.
